Lead HSSE Supervisor for a large-scale challenging construction project, responsible for driving excellence in schedule, safety, and quality.

Requirements

Liaison with Owner to drive for excellence HSSE performance of all contractors
Lead by personal example by complying all HSSE requirements and show total commitment to HSSE to all Owner and Contractors’ personnel.
Administer and participate in the HSSE audits and inspection schemes.
Establish and maintain effective communication and co-ordination between Owner and Contractors.
Monitor all Contractor HSSE programs and advise the Construction Leads, Discipline Superintendents/Supervisors, Field Engineers and Pre-Commissioning Engineers of any shortfalls and provide specialist support.
Carry out daily monitoring of work areas to ensure compliance on the part of all site personnel about safe working practices, environmental compliance.
Activate and co-ordinate the Contractor/Owner/Investigation team in establishing the root cause of any accident/ incident/ near miss, as necessary, and to ensure that remedial actions have been agreed and carried out.
Develop and produce project HSSE statistics, reports, and bulletins.
Review work method statements and risk assessments produced by Contractors and Contractor Pre-Commissioning personnel.
Periodically participate and observe contractor safety meetings (Pre-Task & Toolbox Talks).
Communicate accident reports and lessons learned to Contractors.
Monitor worksite HSSE objectives and periodically report to the Project Manager on performance
Professionally intervene substandard behaviors, process, standard, or practices.
