Survey Technician I role involves receiving, cataloging, and processing electronic survey data, interacting with field personnel, and developing stake-out packages.

Requirements

• Essential understanding of preliminary design and as-built surveying practices and techniques in the pipeline industry.
• Proficiency with Trimble surveying software and AutoCAD.
• Ability to provide technical support for complex pipeline projects.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external partners and assess their needs and satisfaction.
• Ability to gather information from various sources effectively.
• Experience in managing multiple projects to meet quality and timeliness standards.
• Aptitude in using mathematics to solve problems.
• Knowledge of pipeline industry practices, particularly valuable for advanced positions.
• Ability to navigate complex tasks and procedures, demonstrating analytical skills to assess situations and determine appropriate actions.
• Self-driven and able to work independently, progressing on assigned projects even when details are incomplete.
