Environmental Remediation Project Engineer (Massachusetts or Rhode Island)

Woodard & Curran, an employee-owned engineering firm, seeks a talented Environmental Remediation Project Engineer to drive and grow remediation engineering services. This hybrid role offers opportunities for leadership, client interaction, and a flexible work environment, contributing to innovative solutions for complex environmental projects across various sectors. The position involves project management, design, field activities, and collaboration with clients and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• 5 -12 years of professional experience with an environmental/engineering consulting firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-In-Training (EIT) is strongly preferred.
• Technical experience with the lifecycle of remedial treatment systems and technologies.
• Remedial project management experience (scope, schedule, budget, staffing).
• Experience with management of remediation contractors.
• Strong communication, technical writing, and presentation skills.
• Experience conducting field investigations and phased reporting under the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) is desirable.
