Woodard & Curran is a national engineering, science, and operations firm seeking a Wastewater Treatment Operator for their Concord, MA facility. The successful candidate will be part of a team that operates the first CoMag system in the world, utilizing magnets to treat wastewater. The position involves laboratory analysis, record keeping, and process control, with a focus on maintaining 100% compliance. The daily schedule is Monday – Friday, 7.00AM – 3.30PM, with on-call rotation for plant coverage outside normal workday hours.
Requirements
- Massachusetts Grade IV or higher license, or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a wastewater treatment facility, operation, and maintenance; or any equivalent combination of education.
- High School or trade school diploma is required, Associate Degree or higher preferred.
- Must live within a one hour radius of Concord, MA in order to respond to emergency call-outs.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, other personnel, and the general public.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
- Familiarity with biological/chemical treatment processes with particular aptitude for laboratory analysis, record keeping, and facility maintenance.
