Woodard & Curran is a national engineering, science, and operations firm seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support the operation and maintenance of our water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Requirements
- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems including pumps, motors, valves, blowers, and chemical feed equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components such as control panels, motor starters, relays, sensors, and wiring associated with treatment plant operations.
- Maintain and calibrate instrumentation and automation systems used in water and wastewater processes.
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Support emergency repairs and respond to equipment failures to minimize downtime.
- Maintain and repair piping systems, hydraulic components, and rotating equipment to ensure efficient plant operations.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and parts usage in the CMMS software.
- Collaborate with operators and other team members to support continuous plant operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or replacements as needed.
- Assists with the maintenance of the inventory control program for the project.
- Performs housekeeping duties in the maintenance department and on maintenance vehicles.
- Performs all work in a safe and professional manner by following established safety, operating, and emergency response procedures.
- Performs all work to produce an end result which meets all goals and objectives.
