Camp Leader - Summer Day Camp

Woodcraft Rangers seeks a Camp Leader to ensure a fun and positive learning environment for campers in expanded learning programs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, energetic, and proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Key responsibilities include developing and leading age-appropriate program activities, monitoring participant attendance and engagement, and building positive relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience working in expanded learning programs or youth recreational facilities.
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED (AA Degree in Child Development or a related field preferred); prior experience working with groups of K-12 students in an academic or recreational setting preferred.
• Work well with young children and/or youth.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Computer literacy and willingness to learn.
• Valid LIVE Scan, TB Clearance, and CPR Certification
• Must successfully pass an assessment test evaluating skills in math, reading comprehension, and spelling.
