Camp Leader - Summer Day Camp

Camp Leaders are responsible for ensuring a fun and positive learning environment for campers and will support clubs of approximately 20 children. The position is an on-site position, including attending training at the Woodcraft Rangers main office in Little Tokyo and school sites.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience working in expanded learning programs or youth recreational facilities.
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED (AA Degree in Child Development or a related field preferred); prior experience working with groups of K-12 students in an academic or recreational setting preferred.
• Work well with young children and/or youth.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Computer literacy and willingness to learn.
• Valid LIVE Scan, TB Clearance, and CPR Certification
