Job Description
The Emergency Medicine Registrar plays a key role in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients presenting to the Emergency Department (ED).
Requirements
- Perform initial assessment, investigation, and management of patients presenting with acute medical, surgical, trauma, paediatric, and psychiatric emergencies.
- Resuscitate and stabilise critically ill or injured patients in line with Advanced Life Support principles (e.g., ACLS, ATLS, PALS).
- Ensure complete, accurate, and timely documentation of patient records, prescriptions, and discharge summaries.
- Maintain and update a personal portfolio, logbook, and continuous professional development (CPD) credits.
