Building Official

The Building Official will assist the Community Development Director in planning, directing the administration, and code enforcement of Georgia state minimum standard building codes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Public Administration or a related field, and 3-5 years of experience in a related field, including budgeting experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Public Administration or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in a related field, including budgeting experience
• State certification for the type of inspection(s) conducted
• Valid driver's license
