Senior Software Engineer (Ruby/RoR, Platform)

Workato is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build API interfaces and backend infrastructure, collaborate with teams to solve complex problems, and contribute to the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails, strong knowledge of Ruby, and a degree in Computer Science or related field.

Requirements

• Strong experience developing, shipping and maintaining Rails applications
• Vast knowledge of Ruby
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming and design
• Experience with Redis/Memcache based caching, RDBMS engines(Postgres)
• Contributions to open source projects is a plus
• Excellent debugging, analytical, problem solving, and social skills
