HSE OFFICER

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced HSE Officer to join the team in Kano. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Requirements

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
• Carry out regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Lead incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with recommendations.
• Organize safety training and awareness programs for staff and contractors.
• Maintain up-to-date records of incidents, near misses, and safety-related activities.
• Ensure all staff adhere to company and regulatory HSE requirements.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
• Promote a culture of safety across all levels of the organization.
