Job Description
Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking to hire qualified candidates for the Instrumentation Engineer position in Lagos and Port Harcourt, Nigeria. The ideal candidate must be a Nigerian Citizen, aged 25-35 years, with experience in Electrical Light Current / Instrumentation Engineering and Process Instrumentation, SCADA and PLC programming.
Requirements
- Achieve SHEQ objectives
- Effectively manage Electrical & Instrumentation contractors
- Establish and maintain effective communication systems
- Manage and perform the rectification of failed instrumentation, calibration of specialized instrumentation, and troubleshooting on major instrumentation and control systems
- Participate in major maintenance planning
- Manage SCADA systems, PLC programming, and plant process upgrade
- Ensure that all maintenance work in scope is recorded As found and As Left using the SAP PM system
- Participate in, and where required lead, the RCFA process for failed instrumentation and control systems
- Manage improvement projects in terms of Instrumentation and control scope
- Maintain all process instruments at optimal performance in all sites
