Jobsultant is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Consumer Insights Analytics team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the "scientific method" and its role in business information gathering and decision support, a passion for solving difficult business problems using data-driven quantitative methods, and keen interest in communicating complex quantitative analyses in a clear, accurate and actionable way.
Requirements
- Degree in a relevant quantitative field (e.g. statistics, mathematics, economics, operations research, or social sciences).
- Passion for answering difficult business questions with data-driven quantitative methods.
- Appreciation for developing adequate proficiency manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensional data from a variety of data sources, including relational and unstructured data warehouses.
- Ability to communicate complex quantitative analyses in a clear, accurate, actionable and visually appealing manner.
- Keen sense for finding the right balance between quantitative methodological accuracy and timely response to business questions.
- Proficient in BI solutions (especially Tableau) and database query languages (especially SQL).

- Master's/Doctorate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research or Social Sciences.
- Previous work experience in database marketing, data mining and predictive modeling (Work experience or projects).
- Working knowledge of one or more analytical software platforms (e.g. SAS, SPSS, R, Alteryx or open source data mining tools such as Python).
- Working knowledge of database query, reporting and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Alteryx, SQL).
