Job Description
World Group is seeking a Terminal Manager for its growing terminal in Elwood, Illinois. The role involves leadership, relationship building, and business development, with a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, and owner-operator recruitment. The ideal candidate has 5 years of intermodal transportation management experience and 3 years of managing an owner-operator based fleet.
Requirements
- Provide leadership for the Fleet Manager, Customer Service and Operations team members
- Work closely with recruiting and driver experience teams on IC acquisition and retention strategies
- Develop new business and grow opportunities with the current customer base
- Coach and facilitate excellent communication and teamwork
- Facilitate safety inspections and P&L understanding
- Mentor and develop team members
