Job Description
World Relief seeks a Development Specialist to cultivate and expand partnerships with donors, churches, and foundations to fund World Relief Durham's programs for refugees and immigrants. The ideal candidate has a mature Christian faith, exceptional writing and communication skills, and 2+ years of development and fundraising experience.
Requirements
- Mature and personal Christian faith
- Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
- Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
- Exceptional writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong self-starter and ability to work autonomously while prioritizing within deadlines
- Strong team player, willingness to learn and ask for help and a self-starter
- Two+ years of development and fundraising experience, including donor relationship management, or transferable experience (such as sales, account management, etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and database management
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle required
