World Relief seeks a Housing Navigator to join the Extended Case Management (ECM) department, responsible for securing housing and supporting housing-related tasks for newly arrived refugees in the CalAIM program and other resettlement initiatives.
Requirements
- Conduct outreach and establish new relationships with apartment managers/landlords
- Secure and confirm safe, clean, and affordable housing for clients
- Assist clients in securing financial assistance
- Conduct individualized housing needs assessments and develop housing support plans
- Provide comprehensive case management services
- Develop, modify, and facilitate individual and group housing workshops
- Problem-solve with staff and provide regular updates to ECM leadership
- Conduct home visits to assess client needs and provide support services
- Support team with in-kind donations
- Reconcile purchases with credit cards and Cyrus
- Assist the ECM department in any assigned tasks
- Achieve grant requirements and deliverables through timely, high-quality services
- Participate in quality assurance activities, case conferences, and staff trainings
- Collaborate successfully across World Relief Sacramento staff and departments, as well as with external partners
- Participate in weekly staff meetings and other meetings as instructed by supervisor
