Job Description
Join our Emergency Response Roster as a Finance Officer and be part of our response to disaster and humanitarian emergencies. You will execute accounting processes, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and maintain financial integrity in emergency settings.
Requirements
- Review and verify financial source documents and payment packages
- Ensure transactions align with local legislation, WVI policies, and donor regulations
- Maintain financial records and registers, ensuring timely payment processing and reconciliations
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and clear employee advances
- Work with Shared Services to ensure smooth Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes
- Assist in preparing financial records and documentation for internal and external audits
- Prepare and submit required local financial reports, including tax and social security filings
