Java Software Engineer Specialist

Role Overview

Join our NAP team as a Java Software Engineer Specialist to help us unleash the potential of every business. As part of an Agile team, you will contribute and support the team to deliver its commitments on a predictable way according to the SAFe definition and with the expected quality.

What You Will Do

Design application components, develop source code, perform design reviews, and maintain applications by fixing defects/bugs and performing technical change requests.

Requirements

• Strong JAVA skills
• Very good understanding of messaging systems: JMS (IBM MQ, ActiveMQ) or/and Kafka
• Good experience in building large applications with accent on memory and performance profiling
• Working experience with Spring having a focus on Data Access/Integration (JDBC, JMS, Transaction)
• Proficient with Java frameworks/technologies and tools like: IntelliJ IDEA, Maven, Git, Log4J, Jenkins
• Strong database knowledge (preferable: PostgreSQL)
• Strong knowledge of unit testing (JUnit including Mockito and PowerMock), build and deployment processes
• Familiar with Shell scripting
• Relevant experience of at least 8+ years as Java Developer
• Fluent English (written/verbal)
