Senior Platform Engineer

WorldQuant seeks to hire a Senior Platform Engineer to work on Architecture As-A-Service solutions based on Open Source Software, develop tools to improve deployment and monitoring of services, and collaborate with teams to design and implement innovative software solutions.

Requirements

• Solid understanding and hands on experience working with Linux based systems.
• Python coding skills (FastAPI, Pydantic, Flask)
• Strong working knowledge of container orchestration technologies such as K8S (preferred), and cluster management (E.g. Slurm)
• Experience with infrastructure as a code and related tools such as Helm, Ansible, Terraform.
• Hands-on knowledge with containerization systems such as Docker or Podman.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitLab (preferred), GitHub or Git.
• Experience with agile development.
• Experience with monitoring and logging systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• A great team attitude (our job is to make life easier for other teams!)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
