Job Description
We are looking for a Carpenter to construct, erect and repair buildings and other structures made of wood, steel and other materials. The ideal candidate will have 4 years of industrial construction/maintenance industry experience and physical requirements that include climbing, balancing, and lifting.
Requirements
- 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience
- Knowledge and ability to build forms and set forms
- Read blueprints; advanced layout; use of Simon forms; layout of anchor bolts
- Ability to use level (instrument); ability to use transit; ability to tie rebar;
- Finish carpentry work; able to read tape/ruler; set screeds; material takeoff from drawings
- Install batter boards; safety requirements for building work; and operation of pneumatic and electric power tools
