Job Description
We're seeking a Major Gifts Officer to join our fundraising team. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of fundraising experience and be able to identify, cultivate, and solicit high net worth individuals. The role involves traveling to meet with donors and working collaboratively with teammates across the organization.
Requirements
- 5 years of fundraising or sales experience
- 5 years of demonstrated achievement identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donors
- 2 years of experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM database
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong business acumen, interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate technical information
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and tact
- Demonstrated understanding of Wounded Warrior Project and its mission, values, programs, and services
