Ube by Toyota is seeking a Senior Production Machine Learning Engineer to join their Vehicle Perception team. The successful candidate will design and implement innovative machine learning models for the next-generation autonomous driving platform, impacting tens of millions of Toyota production vehicles.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in machine learning, computer vision, robotics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of production experience with ML models deployed in a large-scale production system, particularly in the automotive or safety-critical domains
- Experience with automotive development and production standards, including A-SPICE, PAS8800, and ISO26262
- 3+ years of experience with Python, major deep learning frameworks, and software development best practices
- 3+ years of experience with teacher-student, transfer, multi-task, and deep reinforcement learning
- 3+ years of experience with the entire ML workflow, including data sampling, preprocessing, learning, ablation, evaluation, deployment, and inference optimization
- Ability to write C++ code for integration with the autonomous driving platform
- Strong leadership ability to influence the team's technical strategy
- Excellent communication skills to clearly and accurately convey technical concepts
