Woven by Toyota is seeking a Data Engineer to contribute to the development of a data platform at the heart of Woven City, a fully connected ecosystem being constructed at the foot of Mt. Fuji. The role involves designing and implementing scalable data architectures, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the health of data flows. This is a hybrid position reporting to the team leader, with a focus on developing innovative services and building a foundation for third-party partners.

Requirements

• Possession of a Japanese government-issued disability certificate
• Professional experience in one of the following languages: C++, C#, Java, Go, Rust, Python
• Experience with SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS (AWS, GCP) and synchronous/asynchronous API design (REST, gRPC, Kafka)
• Experience designing data architecture across multiple data domains using an integrated analytics platform such as Databricks
• Background in large-scale batch or stream processing
• Business-level English proficiency
