We are a multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure projects throughout New England. We’re looking for a hands-on Control Systems Engineer / Technician who enjoys troubleshooting, working closely with engineers and operators, and seeing projects from design through startup and onto support.
Requirements
- Develop, modify, and commission PLC and SCADA systems for municipal water and wastewater facilities
- Collaborate with engineers and clients to understand process requirements and translate them into functional systems
- Configure and support HMI/SCADA applications, alarms, trends, and operator interfaces
- Perform onsite startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting for new and existing systems
- Control panel design, testing, and field modifications
- Diagnose and improve existing control logic to meet evolving operational needs
- Maintain clear documentation: control narratives, PLC/HMI backups, change logs, and O&M content
