Job Description
Spectrum Resource Group is hiring an Industrial Backpack Technician for a seasonal position. The technician will be responsible for treating vegetation in designated areas and working in a remote setting. The ideal candidate will have the physical ability to perform a highly demanding role, valid S100/S100A certification, and ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Treatment of all required vegetation within a designated area
- Wearing necessary personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintaining the spray pack and nozzle
- Following the direction of the supervisor, crew leader, and mixer
- Laying out boundaries and riparian areas
- Working in ideal weather conditions
- Carrying 50+ pounds on your back
- Pumping arm and swinging spray arm
- Walking rapidly over debris on uneven terrain
- Decision making skills
- Map reading skills
