Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager- Environmental Scientist/Biologist to interpret and implement federal, provincial, and municipal permits and approvals, support environmental permitting and compliance, and conduct environmental inspections and construction environmental monitoring.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of environmental consulting or applied environmental experience with a regulatory focus
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, ecology, environmental science, or related field
- Appropriate professional designations in good standing, for ex. RPBio (BC), P.Biol. (AB)
- Experience applying legislation such as the Fisheries Act, Water Act, Wildlife Act, Public Lands Act, SARA, MBCA
- Practical experience in aquatics, wildlife, and/or wetland assessment and reporting
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Time management, accountability, and ability to control conflicting priorities
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for field work
