Job Description
CNUC of Canada is seeking a Utility Forestry Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identification, inspection, and reporting of trees and brush along power line corridors, as well as consultation and consenting with landowners and/or stakeholders. The position is full-time, with a pay rate of $250- $300 per day, paid hourly.
Requirements
- Integrated Resource Management diploma, Forestry Resource Technology diploma, and/or BSc in Forestry and/or one or more years of Utility Vegetation Management (UVM) field-related experience
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and Drivers Abstract with less than 6 demerits
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
- Organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with various stakeholders
