Job Description
This is a union referred position for a Journeyman Apprentice. If you are interested in applying, you must first call the union hall at 541-664-0800. The position involves trimming and removing trees, using equipment such as ladders, safety belts, and powered trimmer lift trucks. The job requires working in various weather conditions and following safety practices.
Requirements
- 3 months experience working on tree trimming or clearing crews
- Enforces on-the-job safety practices
- Ability to wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to lift, move, and maneuver up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis and up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis
