Tree Trimmer

Trims and removes trees, uses appropriate tools, and loads/unloads trucks with logs, stumps, and debris. Relays hand-signals, directs traffic, and keeps work area clear and orderly. Trains new employees and safeguards employees and public from hazards.

Requirements

• 3 months experience working on tree trimming or clearing crews
• Enforces on-the-job safety practices
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to write, read, and comprehend written and verbal job instructions
• Valid driver's license
• Herbicide applicator or operators certification and license
• First-Aid and CPR cards
