Security engineer, application security (UK)

WRITER is seeking a Security Engineer, Application Security to build the security foundations that protect the AI systems powering some of the world's most recognizable brands. As a hybrid role from the London office, you'll work at the intersection of application security, AI infrastructure, and developer enablement to embed security into every line of code while ensuring the platform remains both powerful and trustworthy.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in application security engineering
• Understanding of developer experience and developer workflows
• Technical expertise in at least two programming languages
• Knowledge of security tools and methodologies
• Excellent communication skills
• A builder's mindset that looks for opportunities to automate, scale, and empower rather than create bottlenecks
