Bridge Design Engineer

WSP is seeking a Bridge Design Engineer to work on high-profile, complex bridge and structure design projects in Charlotte, NC. The role involves performing engineering analysis and design of transportation structures, including bridges and retaining walls, under close supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from an ABET Accredited institution
• 1 to 3 years of relevant post education experience
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with process and concepts for design/build
• Familiarity with relevant structural design codes
• Proficient self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools
• Familiarity with discipline-specific design software
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety
