Capital Projects Director–Midstream Pipelines (Oil & Gas)

WSP is seeking a Capital Projects Director to lead and expand our Oil & Gas Midstream Pipelines Capital Project portfolio across the United States. The successful candidate will serve as a senior leader responsible for project execution, business growth, and client relationship management, while driving excellence across safety, quality, financial performance, and schedule predictability.

Requirements

• Lead and oversee the delivery of large-scale midstream capital projects
• Serve as Project Director / Executive Sponsor on major programs
• Drive EPCM, and alternative delivery models
• Establish and enforce project governance frameworks
• Conduct executive-level project reviews
• Develop and implement project execution plans
• Lead integration across engineering, procurement, construction, and project controls teams
• Ensure strong project controls discipline
• Drive continuous improvement
• Build and maintain relationships with key midstream operators
• Identify and pursue new opportunities in pipeline infrastructure
• Lead or support major pursuits
• Collaborate across regions and business lines
• Lead and mentor project directors, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Build a high-performance culture
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making
• Champion a strong safety culture
• Ensure compliance with PHMSA, FERC, environmental, and industry regulations
• Promote quality assurance and risk management
