Job Description
Design Engineer - Structures position at WSP in Perth, Western Australia. Opportunity to work on top-tier projects, grow career in renowned specialist Building Structures group, and contribute to landmark projects locally and nationally.
Requirements
- Bachelor to Masters’ level degree (Civil/Structural Engineering);
- 2-5 years industry experience;
- Passionate about Structural Engineering with a desire for excellence in design;
- Demonstrated experience working on large Australian or New Zealand building structures engineering projects within the Commercial Building and Property sector;
- Sound working knowledge of relevant local Standards and Codes (AS/NZS 3500, NCC etc.);
- Exposure across a range of building sectors, e.g., transport, health, commercial, defence;
- Track record of collaborating effectively with colleagues intra/cross-discipline on projects;
- Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills;
- Proficiency with SPACEGASS, ETABS, RAPT, RAM Concept;
- Familiarity with BIM, NavisWorks and Revit Structure would be advantageous
