Job Description
WSP is seeking a Full-Time Early Career Civil/Geotechnical Engineer for our Reno, NV, Elko, NV, or Costa Mesa, CA office. The successful candidate will work on civil and geotechnical engineering projects for the mining industry and have opportunities to work on projects in other industries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, or closely related discipline
- 0 to 1 years of relevant post-education experience
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or the ability to complete the exam within 6 months of start date
- Excellent research skills with analytical mindset
- Competent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities
- Ability to work independently under general supervision, as well as part of a team
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety
