Engineer - Electrical

To act in a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer capacity in producing WSP engineering related project deliverables involved in Power Generation projects in the US. Lead and support Electrical Engineer on design of power generation projects, renewable energy projects, power plant and switchyard electrical system upgrades, and federal electrical system upgrades. Mentor and teach Junior Engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of detailed electrical design engineering experience, including calculations, equipment specifications, etc.
• 3+ years of relay coordination and schematic design
• Engineer in Training Certification
• CAD, Microsoft Office, and ETAP or SKM software experience
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
• Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek
• Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements
