Job Description
Environmental Geologist sought for a challenging role at WSP in Novi, MI. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance and guidance for due diligence, subsurface investigation, and remediation projects. Key responsibilities include leading field investigations, collecting environmental samples, and generating accurate and concise reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or closely related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience working as a Geologist or similar role.
- Knowledge of geological research techniques and protocols.
- Ability to coordinate with agency regulators and understand requirements.
- Experience sampling soil and groundwater via drilling including direct-push, hollow-stem auger, and other similar drilling methods.
- Experience with evaluation of vapor intrusion and sampling soil gas.
- Experience installing groundwater monitoring wells, remediation wells, and soil gas wells.
- Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
