Job Description
Experienced P&C Field Services Technician to perform testing and commissioning tasks for Protection and Control systems on high voltage substations. Supports a wide range of testing and commissioning activities through application of client testing standards, industry standards, and manufacturer recommendations. Works under limited supervision, independently executing moderately complex assignments, and contributing to regulatory compliance, safety adherence, and data integrity across active job sites.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the electrical testing industry
- Demonstrable expertise on transmission, generation, and distribution relays (SEL, Basler, Beckwith, and GE families) and protective schemes
- Proven experience with electrical field testing standards, practices, and procedures, such as NETA, IEEE, and NFPA applicable standards
- Experience using technical software such as ProTesT, Protection Suite, ENOSERV RTS, Omicron Test Universe, and AcSELerator Quickset for testing purposes and data review
