Experienced Professional, Electrical Engineering

We are seeking a Mid-Level Transmission Line Design Engineer to work in the Underground Transmission Line group in our Foxborough, Massachusetts office. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of underground transmission line design for new lines, relocations and upgrades.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with technical report writing through either academic or previous career opportunities
• 3 to 5 years of relevant post education experience in designing power transmission and distribution systems in utility or industrial/commercial environments
• Engineer in Training Certification
• Strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills
• Experience with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management, including rehabilitation and new design
• Ability to coordinate with agency regulators and understand requirements
• Knowledge of relevant engineering and electrical construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills required to apply technical knowledge to reach conclusions from testing results, data collation, statistical analysis and arriving at the most effective, economical, and logical solution
