Job Description
Experienced Substation Design Engineer position at WSP USA. Provides technical assistance and guidance for substation design and construction projects. Assists with research, design, and construction of transmission and distribution substations, power distribution, and protection and control systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3 to 5 years of relevant post-education experience in electrical engineering
- Engineer in Training Certification
- Experience with substation planning, design, and construction management
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
- Ability to coordinate with agency regulators and understand requirements
