Experienced Substation Design Engineer

Experienced Substation Design Engineer position available at WSP USA in Freeport, ME. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, design of power transmission and distribution systems, and project controls experience. Strong technical writing, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years of relevant post-education experience in electrical engineering
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and permitting
• Experience with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management
• Ability to coordinate with agency regulators and understand requirements
