Job Description
WSP is seeking an Experienced Substation Electrical Engineer for their Mount Laurel, NJ office. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in substation design and be proficient in electrical engineering principles and practices. The engineer will assist in the design, development, and construction of transmission and distribution substations, and ensure quality control standards are met.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology (or equivalent experience)
- 3 to 5 years of utility substation relevant post-education experience in an electrical engineering capacity
- Effective self-leadership with attention to detail, results orientation, and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, follow instruction, work independently, and comply with company policies
