Job Description
WSP is seeking an Experienced Substation Physical Engineer to work with our Power & Energy Substation Team. This role involves providing technical assistance and guidance for the design and construction support of utility-scale electrical infrastructure projects, including substation physical design, layouts, equipment arrangements, and construction documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 3 to 5 years of relevant post-education experience in an electrical engineering role performing substation physical design
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
- Demonstrated experience supporting substation physical design deliverables
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and design processes
- Moderate proficiency with technical writing, office automation tools, spreadsheets, and engineering software
