GIS Specialist job involves mapping, modelling, and analysing location-based datasets, and providing expertise in a highly specialised field.

Requirements

• Observe and improve upon, relevant standards and regulations and apply techniques commonly used within industry and geospatial group
• Project manage small projects or discrete work packages
• Identify project scope, time, quality and cost requirements as well as maintain flexibility in managing own workload
• Monitor and manage project quality and risk
• Actively participate in the business development mentoring program
• Awareness of key contractual and commercial issues
• Assist in managing project communications and project integration
• Assist in preparing, costing and coordinating proposals
