Job Description
WSP is seeking a Health & Safety Inspector to ensure compliance with HSE standards, regulations, and project requirements. The role involves creating a safe working environment, preventing incidents, and promoting a strong safety culture across all contractors and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety surveillance
- Verify that Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Permit-to-Work systems are in place
- Monitor contractor compliance with PPE usage, housekeeping, and safety procedures
- Investigate accidents and incidents, propose corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain HSE documentation and records
- Coordinate with project management, engineering, and subcontractors to integrate HSE into planning and execution of works
- Provide HSE support during project meetings, site walk-downs, and client audits
- Monitor emergency preparedness and support environmental compliance
- Keep updated on Saudi Arabia's local HSE regulations and international HSE standards
