Job Description
As an Intermediate Aquatic Biologist, you'll shape projects that protect freshwater ecosystems while enabling sustainable development across the Canadian Prairies and Northern regions. This role blends meaningful fieldwork in dynamic outdoor environments with technical and professional growth in the office.
Requirements
- B.Sc. with 5+ years of freshwater aquatic field leadership experience, or an M.Sc. with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with fish and fish habitat sampling methods such as electrofishing, gill netting, and trapping
- Experience working in remote and challenging outdoor environments, with flexibility to travel
- Valid driver's licence, access to a personal vehicle, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
