Job Description
We are seeking an Intermediate Geotechnical Construction Materials Field Technician to join our team in Markham or Barrie, Ontario. As a geotechnical construction materials field technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of construction projects. The role involves delivering technical services in both field and office environments, performing field quality control and quality assurance testing, and collaborating with engineers and project managers to troubleshoot and resolve field challenges.
Requirements
- College Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, or a related discipline
- 4–6 years of experience working as a geotechnical construction materials technician
- Registration or eligibility for registration with OACETT or PEO is considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, drilling procedures, and testing standards
- Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle and appropriate insurance coverage
