Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer at WSP. Responsible for designing mechanical services and associated systems. Must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 6-8 years of experience. Requires knowledge of HVAC software and 3D modeling.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) is a plus
• Atleast 6-8 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Knowledge in Carrier E20 software (Carrier Hourly Analysis Program) or other HVAC load estimating software
• Design HVAC System
• Calculate Heating and Cooling Needs
• Interpret and Draft Plans
• Calculate ventilation requirements
• Coordinate with other disciplines
• Adhere to Foreign Building Codes and local regulations
• Aware of organization approach to risk management, ethics and safety
• Experienced in an understanding of WSP's organization capability and how to access it
• Working towards Professional Senior status
