Job Description
WSP Australia is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong materials handling experience to join our established Mining team in Newcastle. This role will support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of mining and resources projects across design, studies, and execution phases.
Requirements
- Degree qualified Mechanical Engineer
- Proven experience in bulk materials handling within mining or heavy industry
- Experience with conveyor systems and associated materials handling equipment
- Background in engineering consultancy or project-based delivery preferred
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards and design compliance
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project teams
- Clear communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders
