Municipal Design Engineer

Join our Calgary Land Development & Municipal Engineering (LDME) team as a Municipal Design Engineer. Design and deliver land development and municipal infrastructure projects, including site servicing, stormwater management, water resources, water distribution, sewage collection, and roadway design.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in municipal infrastructure or land development projects for public and private sectors
• Undergraduate degree or diploma in civil engineering from an accredited institution
• Professional designation in Alberta: P.Eng., P.L. Eng., or P.Tech.
• Strong knowledge of local and environmental standards and guidelines
• Proven design experience in sewer, watermain, and road projects, with familiarity in planning and approval processes
• Experience working with Alberta municipalities and First Nations is an asset
