Job Description
Nuclear Geotechnical Engineer needed to provide technical leadership and expertise in geotechnical engineering for safety-related subsurface investigations in support of new nuclear power plants. Responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations and providing direction to address current and future environmental challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering or closely related engineering discipline
- 5-7 years of engineer experience in a corporate environment
- 3+ years of Geotechnical Engineer in support of licensing and design of nuclear power facilities
- Demonstrated experience working under Nuclear Quality Assurance Programs that meet the requirements of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and ASME NQA-1
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain PE
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety
